The Land

One Peninsula.
One People.

The Korean peninsula stretches like a tiger from the sacred peaks of Baekdu-san in the north to the warm shores of Jeju in the south. This land has been home to one people, one culture, and one history for over four millennia.

No border can erase what the mountains remember. The same rivers flow, the same seasons turn, the same ancestors rest beneath the same soil.

The tiger doesn't recognize the 38th parallel. Same blood flows on both sides. Same ancestors watch over both lands. Same moon shines on the same people.

The Spirit

The Tiger
Awakens

For thousands of years, the tiger has been Korea's guardian spirit. It represents courage, strength, and the indomitable will of the Korean people. When Korea looks at itself, it sees a tiger.

The 1988 Seoul Olympics mascot was a tiger. The 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics mascot was a white tiger. In the North and South alike, the tiger remains the symbol of who we are.

10 Million Separated Families

This isn't abstract politics. It's grandmothers who haven't seen their sisters in 70 years. Children who grew old never knowing their parents. Families torn apart by a line on a map.

The war generation is dying. Each year, more families lose their chance to reunite forever.
